You work with children and families. Here is exactly what we do to protect the information you keep in Caseglen.

How we protect your data

Encrypted connections
Every connection to Caseglen uses HTTPS, so data is encrypted on its way between your browser and our servers.
Data walled off per agency
Each agency's records are kept separate using database row-level security. The database itself refuses to show one agency's data to another agency's staff.
Role-based access
Directors manage the team, categories and settings. Staff do the daily work. Directors can remove someone's access in one click when they leave.
Activity log on each person
Every client, therapist and peer has a log of notes and changes, with who did it and when.
Minimal-email mode
Turn it on and emails leave out names, phone numbers and details. People open the app, behind their sign-in, to see who a task is about.
No selling of data
Your records belong to your agency. We never sell or rent them, and we never use them for advertising.

Good security is shared. We recommend that every agency:

Follows its own compliance policies and any rules that apply to its services, and decides what information belongs in Caseglen.
Invites only the staff who need access, and switches accounts off when people leave.
Uses strong, unique passwords.
Turns on minimal-email mode if staff read email on shared or personal devices.
